Rock Candy is a rock trinket added in The Reheated Update.

Effects

• Grants a 15% chance that scales with luck to fire a pink crystal tear that deals 1.5× Golem's damage and charms enemies they hit.
  • The chance to fire a tear is equal to 5 + 10 × Trinket Multiplier + 3 × Luck%, reaching 100% chance at 29 Luck, without any Trinket Multipliers.
• Enemies have a 15% chance that scales with luck to drop a Half Red Heart on death that flickers and disappears after 2 seconds.
  • The chance to drop a heart is equal to 15 × Trinket Multiplier + Luck%, capping out at 40% chance at 25 Luck, without any Trinket Multipliers.

Notes

• Hearts spawned by Rock Candy have a unique appearance, but are otherwise identical to Half Red Hearts.

Interactions

• Trinket Multipliers / Henge Rock: Affects the chance to fire a crystal tear, the chance to drop hearts, and the duration the hearts persist before disappearing, scaling with the multiplier.
• Mom's Knife / Brimstone / Dr. Fetus / Epic Fetus / Technology / Technology 2 / Tech X / Dark Arts: Attacks with these items have a chance of dealing 1.5× damage and charming enemies.
• Aquarius: Chance to create pink creep puddles that deal 1.5× damage and charm enemies.
• Azurite Spindown: Using Azurite Spindown on Rock Candy rerolls it into Robot Rock.
